I've met my old pal Miss Dan on Huaihai road present afternoon. She has been to Japan for years and living in Osaka, the last time we meet up was 2years ago. She often helped me purchase goods on Amazon.co.jp. so I can save lots of money on international airmail postage.
In the Cafe Starbucks, We exchanged the payments and goods on the table.
'It looks like a deal, huh?' - said me.
'Yes, but it is just a deal, isn't it?' - said Miss Dan.
After that, everyone laugh out loudly...
Miss Dan's boyfriend - Hiroki Yakura is a Japanese boy, he come to Shanghai with Miss Dan and will spend a short time vacation here. Hiroki works in a game republish corporation. Then we talk about the video game Shin Megami Tensei as the topic, because I bought a lot of things of this series with their help. (Just like the book: 'Persona Encyclopedia', 'Digital Devil Story - The Novel', game soft: 'Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne - Tsutaya Version' and blah, blah, blah). Miss Dan was the translator between us.
Although Hiroki said that he wasn't the fan of Megaten series, but he likes the artworks of Kaneko Kazuma(ATLUS).
'Why don't you buy yourself the Artbooks: Kaneko Kazuma Works I-III ?' I asked him and he anwsered:
'That's too expensive.'
He told me for most Japanese, to buy a new game soft or artbook will cost their 3-days expenses for eating.
But he didn't know for the Chinese people, to buy a Japanese game or artbook will cost their at least 1-week expenses for eating. (lol) In fact, most of the Chinese gamers can not afford to buy a game.
Finally, Hiroki said he will buy the artbook of Kaneko Kazuma when he back to Japan. Hahah.
Later, we changed the topic to another Megaten video game: Persona.
That's a very pleased conversation with Miss Dan and Hiroki.
Hope they will have a good holiday time in Shanghai.
As people said:
'We always choose to believe something or somebody even we know it may be a lie. When we love someting or somebody, we make ourselve forget to see the lie.'
'Even there is a lie in believe we choose to believe because love.'
And one day when our love's gone, we still remembered your voice, we know we've heard it before, but we don't believe your lies anymore.
Persona is one of the world famous video games, the first game of this series was released for Sony PlayStation® consoles on 20 September 1996. Developer & publisher is Atlus Co., Ltd. The storyline of the game's pretty dark, But I like it very much. 13 years passed, now the remake version of the first Persona game will available on Sony PSP. the release date is 29 April 2009.
Mizuho Nomura, A cute Japanese cosplayer I've never seen before. She is professional and talented in ACG cosplay. I used her cosplay photo 'Maki from Persona' for vector illustration to celebrate the incoming PSP Persona game. Thanks to Miss Nomura. and if you're interested in her works, pls visit Mizuho's homepage: *** Nightmare ***, you will love it.
Thanks to Gigglydan for Japanese translation, thanks to the unnamed cosplayer who cosplayed Eriko, thanks to all the maniacs of Shin Megami Tensei, And you.
Persona pre-order follow this link: Pre-order Persona PSP.
P.S: I dislike the music of the remake version re-composed by Shoji Meguro.
